Autumn strikes loom closer after PCS vote

PCS votes for further strike action in November and agree joint walkout with Unite against IT firm Fujitsu for 19 September.

Further strike action has been planned by the Public and Commercial Services Union (PCS) as part of their national campaign against cuts to pensions, jobs and pay.

The PCS national executive voted unanimously for a one-day national strike and is in talks with other unions over the exact date in order to maximise wider involvement. November has been tabled as a likely time for the action.
