The MJ is delighted to announce the launch of its prestigious annual search to find the best local authority services in the UK, with The MJ Local Government Achievement Awards 2012.

There are 10 categories so far – and more expected - covering a huge range of services and the winners will be announced at a gala awards dinner next June at London's Hilton Hotel.
