Balls gets mansion tax warning

The leader of Kensington and Chelsea RLBC Cllr Nick Paget-Brown has urged shadow chancellor Ed Balls to rethink Labour’s ‘vindictive’ mansion tax plans.

The leader of Kensington and Chelsea RLBC Cllr Nick Paget-Brown has urged shadow chancellor Ed Balls to rethink Labour's ‘vindictive' mansion tax plans.

In a letter to Mr Balls, Cllr Paget-Brown said many of his residents cannot to afford the tax, forcing them to move.
