Banking on youngsters with new savings plan

Children and young people in care will benefit from a savings account designed to help them become independent adults.

More than 55,000 children and young people in care are poised to benefit from a savings account designed to help them become independent adults.

The new Junior Individual Savings Accounts (ISAs) have been launched on the back of a £16.7m fundraising drive by charities Action for Children and Barnardo's.
