Barclays has confirmed the departure date for the head of its pay committee after pressure from council pension funds.

Barclays has confirmed the departure date for the head of its pay committee after pressure from council pension funds.

The bank, which paid its chief executive Antony Jenkins £5.5m last year, up from £1.6m the year before, said last week that Sir John Sunderland would be replaced at the end of its annual meeting on 23 April.
