Barnet LBC has awarded Capita a 10-year £320m contract to run back office services, putting over 500 town hall jobs at risk.

In a cabinet meeting, the local authority voted to outsource responsibility for the borough's call centre, payroll, IT and HR services, corporate procurement and estate management to Capita.
