I am very proud to announce that Barnsley has become the first local authority to receive the highest C1 grading for consumer standards following our recent inspection by the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH).

The regulators recognised our success in delivering high-quality housing and services for our tenants. This is not just a testament to the hard work of Barnsley Council and Berneslai Homes, our arm's-length management organisation (ALMO), but also to the collaborative relationship we have created with our tenants over the years.
