Barnsley MBC is ‘high performing’ despite its long battle with austerity, a peer review by the Local Government Association (LGA) has found.

Barnsley MBC is ‘high performing' despite its long battle with austerity, a peer review by the Local Government Association (LGA) has found.

The LGA praised the council's ‘sound financial management' in the face of austerity.
