Battling the booze - Nottingham case study

Throughout 2005 Nottingham was on the receiving end of heavy criticism from both the media and the public about the crime and disorder that blighted the city's nightlife.

By 2009, Nottingham had become a Beacon City for its management of the night-time economy, achieving Purple Flag status the following year, which it has retained ever since. Instrumental to the city's success, has been the development of a range of partnerships.
