Rioting has continued in Belfast as the city city's councillors debated their decision to limit the days the union flag is flown.

Rioting has continued for a fifth consecutive night in Belfast as the city's councillors on Monday debated their decision to limit the number of days the union flag is flown on top of the building.

Four people were arrested after loyalists bombarded police with pieces of heavy masonry, petrol bombs and bricks last night in east Belfast, bringing the numbers detained connected to disorder since the protests began last month to more than 100.
