Bridgend CC had some explaining to do after residents complained a new seaside bench was facing the wrong way.

The bench on Porthcrawl's Esplanade was recently replaced, but instead of a stunning view of the Bristol Channel, walkers can now marvel at the busy road and hotels that run along the seafront.
