'No benefits' to Telford-Shropshire merger plan

The leader of Telford and Wrekin Council has rejected opposition calls to look at merging or sharing services with Shropshire Council.

The leader of Telford and Wrekin Council has rejected opposition calls to look at merging or sharing services with Shropshire Council.

Cllr Kuldip Sahota said there are 'stark differences' between the two authorities and a merger is 'simply not going to happen' while Labour is in charge of Telford and Wrekin Council.
