Leading chief executives will be on a seminar panel next month to discuss ways of ending the ‘glass ceiling' for senior district council managers wanting to move to jobs in upper-tier councils.
The panel includes chief executives and senior managers who have successfully made the move, such as
Tony McArdle of Lincolnshire CC; Becky Hellard at Bradford City Council; and Michael Lockwood of Harrow LBC.
The morning seminar, at the British Library on 6 November, is organised by Tribal, and the panel discussion is chaired by Michael Burton, editor of The MJ.
