Big in ambition

Corby BC is a small borough of just 55,000 people, but we have big ambitions. We are aiming to double our population by 2030, with a complementary increase in jobs, infrastructure and the provision of public services which rank with the best.

We started from a low base some five years ago, with the council deep in ‘special measures', its coffers empty, and a range of important services, such as community centres and sport and leisure facilities, under threat. Having survived the crisis, recovery and progress has often been hard won, but in the past few years, we have started to reap the benefits.
