A big deal for Cornwall

Cornwall has ambitious plans to address the stark place disparities that have widened as a result of the pandemic, writes Kate Kennally.

It is now four months since Cornwall was one of nine areas invited to negotiate a ‘County Deal' with the Government.

Since then we have been working to secure the best possible result for our residents building on the 2015 Cornwall Devolution Deal and working with the other eight areas via the County Councils' Network to draw on collective support and thinking.
