Delegates at this year's CIPFA conference will hear about reforming the health service, solving the pensions crisis and achieving efficiency savings for the public purse. During the conference delegates will hear from key players in public services and debate the burning issues, the big ideas – and the potential pitfalls of driving through change. Sir Michael Barber, former head of the Prime Minister's delivery unit and one of the principal architects of the Government's public service reforms, will give the opening address.
