Former mill town Bolton is about to get the star treatment with the arrival of actor Colin Farrell and U2 drummer Larry Mullen Jr.

The pair have bought in The Courtyard, a residential development of 26 apartments.

Bolton MBC's executive member for regeneration, Cllr Akhtar Zaman, said: ‘We have a large number of Bolton-born celebrities who love the town, but we're delighted it's also become popular with international stars.
