Boroughs banking on bins with new recycling service

London boroughs have pledged to leave existing charity clothing bins in place, after revealing plans for a new recycling service.

Lewisham LBC, which is working with six other local authorities on the project, has placed a notice on the Official Journal of the European Union website, appealing for expressions of interest in a contract to run a textile recycling network across the seven boroughs.
