Council bosses have pledged to maintain the snowballing momentum behind social care funding reform, following last week's Queen Speech.

Despite repeated calls from organisations such as the Local Government Association (LGA) to implement economist Andrew Dilnot's recommended social care caps, the Government said it only planned to introduce a draft Bill to modernise adult care and support services in the next year.
