Boston BC's chief executive, Richard Harbord, had his contract extended to May, 2013, at a meeting of the full council on 26 September.

Councillors heard that the chief officer employment panel unanimously agreed to recommend the contract extension. The move will be the final period, allowing sufficient time for future permanent chief executive arrangements to be made.
