Botterill set to take reins at Hammersmith and Fulham

Hammersmith and Fulham LBC Conservatives nominate Cllr Nick Botterill as leader to replace outgoing chief Stephen Greenhalgh.

The Conservative group on Hammersmith and Fulham LBC has nominated Cllr Nick Botterill as leader to replace outgoing chief Stephen Greenhalgh - who is poised to become newly re-elected London Mayor Boris Johnson's deputy mayor for policing.

Cllr Botterill's appointment will be voted on at full council on 30 May, the date when Cllr Greenhalgh will assume his new role running the Mayor's office for crime and policing.
