Box hits back at Galloway calls for a West Yorkshire mayor

George Galloway is ‘out of touch’ with the people of Bradford, the chair of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority has claimed after the MP called for a directly elected mayor.

George Galloway is ‘out of touch' with the people of Bradford, the chair of the West Yorkshire Combined Authority has claimed after the  MP called for a directly elected mayor. 

He said: ‘We needed a directly elected mayor in Bradford, and an elected mayor for West Yorkshire is an even better deal.
