Breaking news: Liverpool could cut statutory services by quarter

The council will conduct a series of service reviews to streamline how authority teams operate, with a view to reducing staff numbers.

Liverpool Mayor Joe Anderson has today issued a three-year budget that could enforce 25% cuts to statutory services and 50% cuts to discretionary services.
