Brent LBC has named Christine Gilbert as its interim chief executive.

Ms Gilbert is a highly-experienced chief executive with a track record of success. Most recently, she undertook the role of Her Majesty's chief inspector at Ofsted. Prior to this, she was chief executive at Tower Hamlets LBC. Ms Gilbert will start in early November and remain in post until a permanent replacement is appointed.
