A charity known as B-3, has won a prestigious award for a scheme in which homeless people volunteer to help other homeless people.

A Harlesden-based charity, B-3, has scooped a prestigious award for a scheme in which homeless people volunteer to help other homeless people transform their lives.

The B-Safe project, which stands for Brent Social Access for Everyone, provides after-hours support and a Saturday drop-in service providing peer support for homeless people with drink and drug problems.
