Brighton announces new chief

Brighton and Hove City Council has announced Jess Gibbons from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) as its new chief executive.

Brighton and Hove City Council has announced Jess Gibbons from Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council (BCP) as its new chief executive.

Ms Gibbons has been chief operations officer at BCP since December 2021, and will take up her new role in March, subject to full council approval.
