Bristol to axe chief executive role

Bristol City Council's management restructure proposals do not include the post of chief executive, the council has confirmed.

Bristol City Council's management restructure proposals do not include the post of chief executive, the council has confirmed.

Mayor Marvin Rees said the council was looking at reducing the number of senior managers by seven, which will not include the post of chief executive.
