Members of Bristol City Council have agreed ‘in principle’ to employing their next chief executive on a fixed-term contract.

Members of Bristol City Council have agreed ‘in principle' to employing their next chief executive on a fixed-term contract.

But the local authority's human resources committee, which met yesterday, has decided to wait until it has more information before recommending the move to full council, which will have the final say.
