Bristol commits to improving treatment of disabled staff

Bristol City Council has said it is committed to improving after being accused of ‘institutional discrimination' against disabled staff.

With the authority's treatment of disabled employees being branded ‘appalling' and middle managers alleged to have treated sick notes as ‘nonsense', Bristol has since begun to take action.
