Former prime minister Gordon Brown has pushed for a set of shared devolution principles, warning the UK cannot ‘muddle through' on decentralisation.

Giving evidence at the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on reform, decentralisation and devolution yesterday, Mr Brown warned devolution settlements could ‘no longer be seen as ad hoc and piecemeal'.
