London Mayor Sadiq Khan has ruffled a few feathers since stepping into office earlier this year, but his proudest moment could be supplanting communities secretary Sajid Javid as the ‘most influential Asian in the UK'.

And if Mr Javid – who had held the top spot in the poll for the past two years - wasn't feeling irked enough about being knocked into second place by a Labour politician and fellow British Pakistani, the London mayor appears to be haunting him everywhere he goes.
