The chief executive of Veolia Environmental Services' UK division has warned that local authorities bundling waste contracts together is not a ‘miracle solution' for saving cash.

Speaking to The MJ, Estelle Brachlianoff, said the waste and recycling operator was expecting to see more shared contracts in the sector, but added they could ‘take more time'.
