Andy Burnham has hailed the establishment of an integrated care organisation in Salford as the ‘closest thing yet' to the landscape he wants to see.

The shadow health secretary made the comments in a question and answer session after a speech at The King's Fund yesterday, in which he promised changes to social care budgets.
