Shadow health secretary Andy Burnham has pledged to create a home care army of more than 5,000 workers within the NHS to help tackle the growing social care crisis.

Shadow health secretary Andy Burnham has pledged to create a home care army of more than 5,000 workers within the NHS to help tackle the growing social care crisis.

In a speech to the King's Fund today (27 January), Mr Burnham will outline Labour's plans to reform the NHS, including integrating services ‘from home to hospital'.
