Bury MBC's Colin Fishwick retires

The man behind much of the economic development of Bury for many years is stepping down after 38 years service in local government.

The man behind much of the economic development of Bury for many years is stepping down after 38 years service in local government.

Colin Fishwick joined Bury MBC in 1995, after 22 years with Manchester City Council, to head up its economic development unit. His job was to work with businesses and partners to attract private, government and European finance to Bury, to bring about regeneration and economic growth.
