Business Manager

Worcestershire Regulatory Services is the first of its kind in the country bringing together Trading Standards, Environmental Health and Licensing representing all Worcestershire District and County Councils.

This innovative change happened around a year ago and a lot of hard work has been done to put this service into action.

Now we need a second Business Manager to continue to lead this programme onto further success – can you take us from good to great?

This exciting and influential new post will be part of an innovative team driving service improvement through change management and business transformation. Most of all you need to bring people – our staff, stakeholders and customers – with you. To do this you will need excellent change management and interpersonal skills, be able to bring people with you through the change required and have a proven ability to drive service improvement through transformation. You will also need bags of energy and enthusiasm with a passion for leading change.

Closing date: Monday 28th November 2011. Assessments will take place week commencing 5th December. Interviews to be held on 19th and 20th December.

Our Service was created on 1st June 2010 to deliver local authority functions relating to Environmental Health, Trading Standards and Licensing on behalf of the 7 Worcestershire Local Authorities Worcestershire Regulatory Services (WRS) is the first shared service of its kind, involving both District and County Councils discharging a combination of functions through a single management structure, improving service delivery and saving money.
