Former Norfolk CC chief executive Tim Byles has been drawn into the phone-hacking saga, amid allegations of media harassment.

Former Norfolk CC chief executive Tim Byles has been drawn into the phone-hacking saga, amid allegations of media harassment involving phone interception, covert surveillance and hostile briefing.

The claims were made by former local government minister Nick Raynsford MP during the prime minister's statement on Wednesday.They concern Mr Byles role as chief executive of education quango Partnership for Schools (PfS) in the aftermath of last summer's botched announcements into the fate of the Building Schools for the Future (BSF) programme.
