New cabinet member for community development at Richmond LBC

Richmond LBC appoint a new cabinet member.

A minor re-shuffle of Richmond LBC's cabinet has seen former mayor Cllr David Marlow take up the position of cabinet member for community development.

Cllr Sam Salvoni, the former post holder, has stepped down for family reasons, but will become a member of the finance, overview and scrutiny committee. During his 20 years as a councillor, Cllr Marlow has served as a former chairman of the education committee and a former cabinet member for the environment. He was mayor from 2010-2011. He represented Hampton Wick between 1974-1986 and has been a ward member for South Twickenham since 2002.
