Calderdale MBC has named Gordon Mitchell as its next interim chief executive.

Mr Mitchell's appointment – due to be approved at a forthcoming council meeting - will run until a permanent replacement for Owen Williams, who will leave the authority to become chief executive of the Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust, takes up his post later this year.
