An influential healthcare group has called for a national partnership across the NHS and public health, as part of its interim report for secretary of state, Andrew Lansley.

The NHS Future Forum wrote to the health secretary last week, outlining its provisional recommendations, which should form the basis of its final report at the end of the year.
