Camden urges London councils to lobby for tourism tax

The idea of councils being allowed to impose a tourist levy to help plug funding gaps has been revived by Camden LBC.

The idea of councils being allowed to impose a tourist levy to help plug funding gaps has been revived by Camden LBC.

Camden, which has previously looked at adopting the charge used in European cities including Paris, Berlin and Barcelona, now hopes to enlist other London boroughs to lobby the Government.
