Cameron: '100 new free schools imminent'

David Cameron and education secretary Michael Gove have revealed more than 100 new Free Schools have been approved to open from 2013 and beyond.

Prime minister David Cameron and education secretary Michael Gove have revealed more than 100 new Free Schools have been approved to open from 2013 and beyond.

The 102 proposed schools, announced on 13 July, represent an increase of more than 50% on the number of Free Schools approved last year and could continue a year-on-year increase in the new organisations since the first 24 were opened in September 2011.
