David Cameron will today restate the coalition’s case for NHS reforms, claiming resistance to change risks its long-term future.

The prime minister will also justify the decision to abolish all 152 primary care trusts (PCTs), arguing their lack of clinical knowledge renders them'the weakest link in the NHS.'
