Prime minister David Cameron ruled out fiscal devolution for England as he clashed with communities and local government committee chair Clive Betts.

Prime minister David Cameron has ruled out fiscal devolution for England as he clashed with communities and local government committee chair Clive Betts.

In a heated exchange at a meeting of the House of Commons' liaison committee yesterday, Mr Cameron rejected Mr Betts' call for the devolution of fiscal powers.
