Business services giant Capita has been named as the preferred bidder to manage Barnet LBC's back office services in a £320m ten-year deal.

The contract – which is subject to cabinet approval on 6 December – would make Capita responsible for a range of services including the borough's call centre, payroll, IT and HR services, corporate procurement and estate management.
