Capita says Tata to prime criminal records contract

Tata Consultancy Services has beaten off incumbent Capita to land the lucrative contract to manage criminal records checks on behalf of the Home Office.

Tata Consultancy Services has beaten off incumbent Capita to land the lucrative contract to manage criminal records checks on behalf of the Home Office.

Capita announced on 3 October that it was no longer in the running for the contract to support the new Disclosure and Barring Service, which will replace the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB), when it is merged with the Independent Safeguarding Authority (ISA) from next year.
