Capital's jobless get £11m boost

A share of £11.3m EU match-funding is up for grabs for organisations with projects to help unemployed Londoners find jobs.

A share of £11.3m funding is up for grabs for organisations with projects to help unemployed Londoners find jobs.

The funding comes through London Councils' European Social Fund (ESF) programme, matching funds from 15 London boroughs with the European Social Fund. The scheme is open to organisations in one of the participating boroughs. Projects have until noon, 31 October 2011 to apply.
