Liverpool FC captain, Steven Gerrard, has officially opened a new, state-of the-art primary care resource centre yesterday in Huyton, Knowsley, where he grew up.

The Blue Bell Centre houses four GP practices, a pharmacy and a range of PCT services and has been developed in close consultation with the local community.
