Whitehall's proposed formulae for implementing the Care Act in 2015/16 are ‘fundamentally flawed', London Councils has argued.

Calling for further work by the Government, the organisation said the formulae for both assessments and deferred payments failed to consider residents aged under 65, who make up 40% of London's social care case load.
