Care cap not a 'cure all' warns charity

Department of Health (DH) proposals to place a cap on care for people aged over 65 would benefit few older people, Independent Age has claimed.

Department of Health (DH) proposals to place a cap on care for people aged over 65 would benefit few older people, a leading charity has warned.

The admonition from Independent Age follows the publication of further details on Government plans to transform how people in England pay for care - issued in a consultation which ends 30 March.
